We use Stripe to enable split payments on our marketplaces. Sign up for a Stripe account and then enter your details in the 'Payments' page. You can also specify your commission percentage here. Your sellers also need to sign up for their own Stripe accounts. After that when a payment is made on your marketplace site, your seller will get paid directly into their Stripe account and you will get your commission in your own Stripe account. Both of you can view the order and see the buyers contact details and an itemised purchase order.
You can charge a percentage commission on each listing price in your marketplace This will be charged on the basic listing price and not on shipping. At the moment you can only specify a site-wide percentage amount. Get in touch if you have custom requirements around payments on your marketplace.
Individual sellers get a simplified set up procedure that lets them sign up to your marketplace and quickly put up a listing for sale. They can leave out the price for text-only or pure information-based listings. The individual sellers workflow is ideal for sellers who want to create a listing fast. They can create as many listings as they want and get paid into their own Stripe accounts.
